The day dawned sunny and hot with a heat index of well over 100 degrees.  Arriving at the lovely The Hilltop Restaurant, I couldn’t help but feel the weight of the humidity and the stillness of the air.  But with garden flowers blooming and the sunlight dappling the green lawn, I couldn’t help but feel excited for Donna and Bill’s afternoon wedding. 

With family and friends sitting in the shade, a beautiful ceremony was performed by Debbie VanSchoor.  Donna and Bill laughed, read original vows, and promised a lifetime of love and happiness to each other.   And the heat of the day?  It enveloped us all just like Donna and Bill’s laughter, love, and unfailing good cheer.

Donna and Bill – you both were such great sports in allowing me “one more shot” in the heat of the day.  I thank you so much for allowing me to share in your memories and capture your special moments.  I wish you both years of happiness and joy!
